Seems like Cook County is making changes to its website that were long overdue:
Come April, Cook County property owners will be able to go to a single website to find all of the government information related to their homes or businesses.County Board President Toni Preckwinkle said the new site, set to go live April 1, will be “a one-stop shop” for records kept by five county offices: treasurer, assessor, clerk, recorder of deeds and Board of Review.The site will combine five years’ worth of records about each of the county’s 1.7 million properties, including their assessed values, taxes, sales and liens. The site, cookcountypropertyinfo.com, also will allow property owners to pay their bills or appeal their assessments online.
