Lobbyist who's under 65 got tax breaks for seniors, costing Cook County taxpayers. Cook County made him pay up. Then, it renewed them.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Armando W. Saleh, a former chief of staff to a Cook County Commissioner turned lobbyist, fraudulently obtained more than $80,000 in property tax breaks meant for low-income senior citizens — even though voting records and other government documents say he’s 56 years old.
